Prudence is part of the We Are Longing to Dance series, which delves into the complexities of women’s self-expression. These collages capture the tension between restriction and the yearning for freedom, as female figures embody both oppression and the desire to break free.

With surreal elements and a strong, stationary figure supported by a post, Prudence is a powerful reflection of resilience, balancing stillness and movement.

Each figure in the series is named after virtues commonly given to girls by parents—virtues that represent the societal expectations women are often held to.

•This is a giclée print of an original collage. Prints can fit into A size frames. Note the frame is not available with purchase.

• Printed on Hahnemühle Photorag 308gsm, a minimal textured Giclée art paper, using archival pigment inks. The paper is suitable for mounting but needs to be handled carefully.
